A washcloth & soap cozy in one! This fun crochet toast holds your soap and the cotton yarn lathers up nicely in the bath or shower. Free crochet pattern below.
Slide a bar of soap into the pouch between the two slices of toast and then slip the loop through the slit on the opposite side to close it up. The loop is perfect to hang the pouch for drying.
This is a nice sized soap cozy, I fit a big, 7oz bar of soap in it.

With wrong sides of toasts together, starting in top right corner, slst tops, left sides, and bottoms together using Dark Brown. When you get to the 2nd side, slst to the middle of the side on 1 piece of toast only (so you’re not sealing the 2 together at this point), ch 30, slst in next st on side (loop made), continue slst across remaining side of toast. Moving on to the other piece of toast: slst 6, ch 5, sk 4, slst to end, F/O, weave in ends.
Insert soap into cozy. Insert longer loop through slit, and enjoy!
